The Colorado River developed the program through canyon about six million years back, and probably progressed from pre-existing drainages to its present program. Geologic processes, such as erosion of tributaries and slopes, and active tectonics still figure the canyon today. Analysis
Well-known because of its geologic relevance, the Grand Canyon is one of the most examined geologic scenery in the world.
